Canoeing 10 Miles = Quite the Adventure

This summer, 6 boys, 3 adults, and our fearless leader (Ben Simms from O.W.L.S.) took on the adventure of an overnight canoeing trip down the Etowah River in Dawsonville and it was quite the experience. For most of the boys it was their first time in a canoe, but despite a few flipped canoes, they really picked it up fast and did a great job. It was awesome to see their courage in trying something new, enjoy some good laughs, and continue to have meaningful conversations about Christ.

Here are some pictures from the trip!

(We camped near the bottom of this waterfall)

(I don't what was more odd, randomly having a horse go through out campsite or the fact that the owner let the boys jump on it)

(Josh and Rodney are so intense)

(This is Junior waiting to take off...and about 15 minutes before Cash flipped their canoe by standing up to "dry off")

Here's the OWLS website and if you scroll down you'll see some more pictures from our trip!
